Wow, in London again now - got back on the Contiki bus around 5pm yesterday. What a crazy experience!! That 20 days was some of the quickest in my life!! It was a great experience too.

- Saw/experienced so many things I could never have imagined eg. Berlin wall, Hitler's place of death, red-light district of Amsterdam, Prague, beautiful Venice & the fantastic pizza, Trevi fountain in Rome (& the best gelati of the trip), Mt Pilatus (even though the weather sucked), cute Innsbruck, a puppet show on the Paris metro, the Eiffel tower, the statue of David and many other great sculptures in Florence.

- Learned bits of languages and particular phrases such as: sono molto felice (a popular phrase in Venice), dove hospitale? (while falling off the pavements in the busy streets of Florence with Lei, Di and Marco), sprechen sie english?, bonjour, bonsour, 'weave!!' (used in Paris to get around traffic). Sang the volare song in Tuscany and joined in with the eine prost song in Munich.

- Met some lovely people from Canada and Aus! Hope to keep in touch with some of them and maybe see them again sometime.

For now, it's recovery time in London for a day before we fly to Spain really early tomorrow morning. Amy, Kim and I all got a bit sick unfortunately (yes Contiki encourages burning of the candle from both ends) so I'm just chilling out now. Has been a great 1 1/2 months so far. It really feels like months and months ago since I left Brisbane.
